Abstract: The purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness of the psychoeducational leadership training program prepared by Furuya, Kakegawa & Otoyama (in print) using text-mining procedure. Thirty university students participated in this training program in the class of the university. They were requested to submit three reports about contents of their reflections in skill training exercise. Eighty one reports about ten kinds of exercise were obtained and analyzed. The exercise was classified in four types of understanding-self-and-others, dialogue, presentation and group-activity. As a result of frequent appearance words extracted according to the type of exercise, it was confirmed that the contents of the reports were in line with the aim of the exercise. Furthermore, it was analyzed about the nouns which pointed at a person, the nouns which showed a feature of a person and verbs to express activity. As a result of correspondence analysis, it was suggested that participants deepened insight about basic leadership skills by experiencing exercise. These results supported the effectiveness of the training program.
