Abstract: The performance and presence of Chinese economy in the past decades are drawing broad attention all over the world. Since "open-door" reform policy was introduced, various institutional reforms have been implemented and enterprise reform is one of them. The concerns of this paper include the following points. What stage did Chinese enterprise reform develop to? How do private enterprises in China survive, evolve and develop? What relations do private enterprises have with government and public enterprises? By analyzing a typical case on "State-owned and Privately-managed Enterprise", the author will give possible replies to the above issues.
